Been using a Mac for almost 3 years now and i just figured out the best and fastest way to see my Machines Serial Number

• I used to look for my original receipt, most distributors like LMK write it there.
• It’s also on your hardware for instance on my G5, serial number is here (see pic below) you have to open your mac and look for it…
  
  
• But the easiest way is here
  click on the (blue) apple logo on the taskbar, then click on about this mac, you’ll open the “about” window… to see the serial number click on the version number twice it should reveal the built number on the 1st click and your serial number next.. isn’t that handy?
