Philip Bloom a film maker creates stunning short films showcasing the power of Canon EOS 7D‘s HD movie capabilities. Philip used the Canon 7d, Zacuto Tactical rig, Z-Finder V2 and Canon 35mm f1.4 that’s responsible for that beautiful bekeh (beautifully blurred background). According to Philip’s review the shutter rolling problem inherited from the 5D Mark II was a bit reduced in the new 7D. Watch the video after the cut.

Canon posted several sample shots taken with EOS-7D on their website. Those shots are quite good but Flickr have more. If you search for Canon 7D on Flickr you’ll see more samples, and here’s some of my favorite. More after the fold.

They also used a fast prime lens EF50mm f/1.2 USM set at f/2.8. The photographers who took these photo are pro’s and knows how to set good lighting and camera setting, don’t expect that the D7 can do [...]

Yesterday we looked at leaked photo’s of the Canon 7D, and Today Gizmodo did a hands on review of the newest Digital SLR from Canon (lucky guys).

It’s September and the release of the next Canon Digital SLR the EOS-7D is imminent. And now here’s another leaked Photo showing the EOS-7D in full detail (back and front view) and with the new two lenses on it’s side. Although there’s no official words from Canon yet, the number of leaked photos means the release of this new Digital SLR from Canon is fastly approaching.

Kamera & Bild a German Photography Site has been invited by Canon in an event to be due in September 1 but they didn’t elaborate any details.  It becomes the basis of Photography Community’s claim that Canon should announce the New EOS-7D.
