I’ve been driving a motorcycle for over a year now, but this is the first time my driver’s license was confiscated… It seems like they’re getting strict on motorcycles.. Today my luck slipped, a Quezon City Traffic Police named “Huerta” captured my license for not using side mirrors, used all the alibi i can use but no good, offered some some cash but the officer said “Di bale sana kung gabi, mahirap na, baka mahuli sila”, I’d rather pay him a few bucks than pay 500 php fine, and waste 1 day visiting the Land Transportation Office. Again that same day, an MMDA want to confiscate my license for the same offense, I just showed the ticked that was issued to me but one of the MMDA guy said “Kumpiskahin na yan, at isyuhan ng bagong tiket” they want to confiscate the issued ticked and issue another… WTF! It’s obvious that they just want some bribe, no way!.. Huertas told be i still have 5 days to used the ticket as temporary license.
