The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness which was announced three months earlier is finally available online for a price of $990 US. That’s a huge price for mobile phone that just do the basics like texting, calling, email, fm radio and time management.
Here’s a quote from Sony Ericsson press release:
The Xperia(TM) Pureness is not simply about a phone; it is about opening a debate about people’s relationship with technology in a complex world
It’s kinda like SE saying “Think Different” – an Apple original, and indeed the Pureness is a premium product which targets the high rollers and those who think different, act different and likes different. Perhaps the Think Different gone off the roof at $990 US I can buy an iPhone or some other more functional mobile phone.
The Xperia Pureness is literally a phone made with form-over-function in mind. It’s the first mobile phone to have a transparent LCD, reminds me of the story of a king who want only the best clothes ending up wearing nothing but an invisible clothes. Obviously, I’m just sour griping since I don’t have the means to buy the Pureness but if you do, you can buy it via the link below.
