I was taken by surprise when i was told that it was a “premium” phone, and required a data plan, besides that no problems, except poor audio quality on Youtube and so far only 14 apps compatible with the phone.
The Samsung Rogue is a GOOD phone, that is if you’re willing to spend on data plans. It have facebook and youtube but you connect to the internet via your carrier which will cost a lot rather than connecting to the internet via your home wi-fi or free wi-fi hotspots.
Hope that helps..
is there anyone who actually has this phone that likes it?? i really want to know what the rogue is all about because i have researched and researched and i find good comments and i come here and i see bad ones… so its making me think twice… earlier it mentions about having no wifi but ther is still a facebook and youtube app right?? im not that good at all this technical stuff so i have no idea if its any different but if there is no wifi then there is no internet right?? so there is no facebook or youtube right?? but then it says that it has facebook and youtube app??? i dont get it!!
is it a good phone or a bad phone?? please i need help!!!
Agree with you 100%, well said, the Rogue looks amazing.
We just bought the rogue from verizon and got a sd card. Everytime we put the card in the phone, it freezes….won’t even turn off. We had to take the battery out to unfreeze it.
Took the phone in verizon, and the same thing happened in 3 phones. He tried the LG phones, and it was fine.
He told us samsung did not support the M4A file. So we changed them all to MP3 files. All the songs went on the phone, but when we went to play them…..phone froze up again:(
My name is Chris and I recently bought a Rogue and so far so good….I’ve owned WM devices for a few years now and the one thing I really am annoyed at with the Rogue is the AT&T application lock. Alot of my favorite Windows Mobile apps will not install. I’m looking forward to learning and contributing in our quest to customize and use these new devices by Samsung If you own a Rogue, come hand out on the site http://www.Samsung-Rogue.com
The Samsung Rogue is a tad bulky, and the streaming video quality is poor.
