In the tradition of the Nokia 6700 series, Nokia released a new mobile phone, the 6700 Slide. I’m sure you’re asking how it is different from the earlier 6700 classic but I’ll have that covered soon. First let’s look at what this mobile phone have on it’s arsenal of features.
First up, the Nokia 6700 Slide, is of-course a slide-up phone that comes in six exciting colours which includes Aluminum, Pink, Petrol-blue, Red, Lime, and Purple. Now you express yourself as simple and elegant with Aluminum Colour, Girlie and spunky with Pink or an iPod Nano fan with Green (it kinda remind me of the earlier generations of iPod Nano). I call it the Nokiachormatic!
The Nokia 6700 Slide features a 5 Megapixel camera which can take photos with up to 2592×1944 pixels resolution. It have all the features you need like media player, bluetooth, 2.5 mm audio jack, and FM Radio (scroll down for full specs). Although Nokia promises to make photo sharing with social networking site, the 6700 slide don’t have GPS (global positioning system) and Wi-Fi you need to have internet plans for it.
The 6700 Slide was announces earlier this week (November 24, 2009) and is expected to be released first quarter of 2010 for around €160 or 240 US Dollars (before taxes and subsidies).

The purple and lime are gorgeous! I am definitely buying the purple one for my third line.
The red was a bit brown tinged, the pink too loud, petrol blue would have been better as peacock blue or cobalt. Aluminum is a safe bet. Wish it had WIFI and a longer battery life too.
