Alongside the release of the Nokia 6700 Slide is another slider phone, the slicker Nokia 7230. At first look, I kinda like the 7230 more than the 6700. Although it’s only available in two colours graphite and pink, it have a regal feel to it which is due to its metallic elements and colour combination.
With the Nokia 7230 you can take photo using its 3.2 Megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and enjoy them on its 2.4 inch screen or upload and share them on Ovi, Flickr, Vox, YouTube, Facebook, or share via Bluetooth instantly. This slider phone natively supports google talk and windows live so you can chat on-the-go. Social netwoking via Facebook and twitter or other networking sites could be done directly from the home screen. With support of all popular email services such as Gmail, Haotmail and yahoo Mail, you can read your email straight from your phone or you can use Nokia Messeging to create your own email, or use a free Ovi Mail account.
The Nokia 7230 supports quad-band GSM and two versions of tri-band 3G. Music lovers will love the 3.5mm audio jack which they can listen up to 27 hours of music. It comes with a 2GB microSD card and will be available early 2010 at around $150 US, 100 EURO, 92 UK pound or 165 Australian Dollars. Looks cheap eh?
It seems like an OKAY phone, but for a budget challenged person like me, a built in wi-fi could have been great. That way you need not to use data plans.
