Oregon Scientific recently released its 1080p capable shock proof, freeze proof, water proof, all terrain videocam. Unlike tought digital cameras the ATC9K comes with a bike handle grip mount, helmet grip and a silicon rubber headstrap so you can use it on your bike or what ever sports that uses helmet out of the box. It records 1080 x 720 hd video with 135 degrees wide field of view in a Micro SD card (up to 32GB). The built-in 1.5 screen allows instant playback and the built-in G-sensor records G-force measurements during the the sport so you can trach the extreme G-force levels and compare with mates!

It can record 4 hours of 1080p 30fps video, 5 hours 720p 60fps, or 8 hours of 848p 60fps video in a 32gb memory card. However, the built-in battery only lasts 1.5 hours (movie recording) and the ATC9K won’t records video while connected to a charger which is a big turn off. You can’t bring a spare battery nor you can charge it while charging using a third party solar charger. Additional features includes the ability to shoot 3 or 5 megapixel photo, Selectable recording modes: Vivid, Negative, B&W, Sepia, Art modes, optional GPS module ($70), camera remote and various camera mounting options.
