1st Generation iPod Nano Trojan

My buddy TJ asked me to copy some files to his iPod (i did not copied music), it’s a good thing that i run a mac version of Norton Anti-Virus. When i plugged it in Norton discovered that it contains a strain of a trojan horse MS32DLL.dll.vbs, though mac doenst get infected with viruses it’s a good thing to run it, in my case it helps me tell everyone the advantage of having a mac, if i didn’t quarantied the trojan it might be passed to my friends, too bad they’re on windows.

MS32DLL.dll.vbs also known as VBS.zodgilla, is a trojan that will let your Internet Explorer Title to show “Hacked by Godzilla”. It doesn’t much of a serious threat as it only spreads itself and some hacked message.

I cleaned the ipod and my friends praises my mac, if you’re on windows and want to get rid of the trojan below is a link to a step by step removal.
