Coffee Prince, and Soaps on GMA

I’m not really into Teleseryes, Soap Operas, Koreanovelas, but the Coffee Prince got my attention, I watched a little Jumong, even that F4 stuff, but Coffee Prince is quite different and unique, it’s a love story between a girl who pretends to be a guy to have a job and eventually fell in-love with her boss, the story is quite fascinating Characters portrayed their role very well, but GMA channel 7 really sucks arse..

Okay okay… Thanks channel 7 for a beautiful series, but if you watch Coffee Prince you’ll notice that the show is usually less or just a minute, “ang daming comercial! ang haba pa!!” there are lot’s of commercials and it’s longer.. even longer than the show, they even repeat 3 seconds of every ending before the proceeding with the show between commercials, i believe doing it before every episode is alright.. but every commercial?!! WTF GMA.. I know it’s all bout the money and advertisement.. but hey.. Another thing.. They now put the series on a late time-slot to give way for newer shows..

Oh well, it could just be me.. but the whole thing GMA 7 is doing sucks, and It makes me not watch those otherwise nice Koreanovelas I’ll just buy copies from Quiapo though its in Korean and i have to read subtitles it’s okay rather than to watch an entire episodes full of commercials..

Another thought on these Imported Series, Why not just copy the concept and create a new soap opera with our local actors, instead of creating same series, with the same concepts, same actors, almost the same story line.. Marimar was good, Marian Rivera is damn Sexy.. not until dead people lives again, and the whole story messed up.. All these shows are good at first but will eventually sucks as they try to lengthen the story… Guys give us some quality shows.. perhaps CSI, Heroes, Supernatural, even Galactica like series that filipinos can be proud of.. grrr..
