YPN is like Yahoo’s version of Google’s Adsense. Launched August 2, 2005, YPN service is still at Beta stage, it’s almost 3 years, and still publishers outside US cannot make money out of it.. perhaps they want the service perfect before putting it out of beta.
When you go to YPN sign-up page, you’ll be prompt that “Participants of the program must have a valid U.S. Social Security or Tax ID number, and web site content that is predominantly in English and targeted at a U.S. user base. Yahoo! will contact you about your eligibility to participate and about availability of the program.” This means that we bloggers from the Philippines have no choice but to wait, (who needs an adsense replacement? ). Until when? only Yahoo knows, or untill Microsoft takes over yahoo?
