Samsung is about to release the very first 24-inch monitor equipped with a built-in 5-megapixel webcam.

Priced at $2,000 the new Samsung Scopia VC240 monitor is too expensive, and that protruded webcam isn’t quite appealing, hopefully Samsung made it rotatable at least 360 degrees to justify it’s existence.
But wait the bright side is that it’s capable of capturing 720p video at 30fps, supports V2oIP technology and h.264 compression. It also has 1920x1080p full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio but at a tag of $2,000 the Apple LED Cinema display at $900 usd is a better deal.
