Rest in Peace HD DVD! The High Defenition Disk Format is Over and Blu-Ray wins, the mere fact that Blu-ray arrived earlier than HD DVD makes me think that Blu-ray is destined to win the war. Although innovation is always a good thing, HD DVD didn’t make it..
My thoughts are – Blu-ray, just the name itself is “something new” when you hear blu-ray, one thing comes it to mind is that it’s the next video disk format to DVD, and the term “HD-DVD” is kinda old, and it still have that word “DVD” reminiscing the DVD days what’s next ED-DVD (exteme def DVD) or SP-DVD (superb def DVD)?, That’s just a thought though.. and I’m all for the winner! Hoooray..
