Netflix has just notified their customers that a new fee will be applied to Blu-ray renting accounts. Netflix will be charging $1 more every month to their Blu-ray renters. Given that a Blu-ray purchase sticker price is often 30% or more expensive than its DVD counterpart, this increase seems within reason
Blu-ray renters doesn’t need to do anything if they want to continue to rent blu-ray movies but if you don’t you need to visit your account at the Netflix website. $1 more every month isn’t that big compaired to the quality of the videos you are watching, I, for one is willing to pay that extra dollar to continue renting blu-rays.
