While some of us are still busy with installing the new iPhone 2.0 software to our iPhones, we should remember that the new iPhone 3G’s are already being sold worldwide. The crew of iFixit.com actually flew to New Zealand to be amongst the first to buy and disassemble the iPhone 3G. They have posted a log and gallery of their trip and subsequent disassembly.

iFixit.com did a great job of updating us with the events during the launch of the iPhone in New Zealand and even disassembled one iPhone 3G to show us the inside components of this interesting gadget.
