A few days ago, I made a post about iPhone 3G’s Cracking, now we have yet another issue at hand about Apple’s New iPhone. While the new iPhone 3G may feel warmer than the previous model, it shouldn’t get hot enough to burn human flesh or skin.
A MacRumors forumer recently made a thread about his iPhone burning his skin after he fell asleep with his iPhone on his pocket, the burning sensation woke him up and found his iPhone in an almost melted state. He said the he turned the 3G off, no push and even set the screen to lock after a minute so the phone shouldn’t have been active. This is certainly the first time I’ve heard an iPhone, or any other phone, melting in the owners pocket.
The Melting issue have already reached overseas, here is a link to the news from tweakers.net, its dutch but here is the translated version.
There are already many speculations about what may have happened and I am still waiting for Apple’s reaction regarding this issue.
