New screenshots of the new iPhone 2.2 Firmware update keep leaking from obscure European sites. This reveals that Apple has activated iTunes and App Store features that will make their debut in the next iPhone software update. These screenshots shows Podacst including the downloading process over the 3G network.

Apple has also established that the podcasts can’t be bigger than 10 MBytes, which will be fine for most iPhone users. It is also unclear whether the feature will be restricted to iPhones on a 3G connection or if downloads can also be performed over an EDGE network.

The new podcast downloads is just a part of the new features that will be offered in the coming firmware update, rumored features include, Google Streetview and the Japanese Emoji Icons.
