It only took Google a few days to find the vulnerability that hackers exploited to jailbreak the Android G1. Google is pushing RC30 updates to Android users that allegedly shuts down the root hole which brought some freedom to locked and closed G1.
“We’ve been notified of this issue (Jailbreaking of Android) and have developed a fix. We’re currently working with our partners to push the fix out and updating the open source code base to reflect these changes.” says Google
The said update started reachig users last friday nad by now they should have updated almost all the Android G1 if the users permit it. So if you are not into jailbreaking then this update is a must-have for you because this update can be accurately characterized as a security fix.
