I guess by the title that oyou already know what this post is about. As you know, Every new gadget that comes out the market gets disassembled by the ifixit team, iPods, iPhones and now the new MacBooks.
The ifixit crew also discovered some interesting things about the new MacBooks, which are:
The optical drive is identical in the MB and MBP, and it’s SATA
• MBP RAM isn’t tough to replace, but hard drive requires a Torx screwdriver
• The keyboards can be user-serviced, but require removing 56 screws first
• “Unibody” construction is “elegant”
• “The new MacBook is really a 13″ MacBook Pro. It uses the same design, and same manufacturing quality”
Take a look at the ifixit site to view all the guides and interesting pics on disassembling Apple MacBooks.
