So what is in a name, of course it is for branding, making your product known, a name is as important as th product itself, of course a good product won’t appeal as much to the public if it have an ugly name.

I found an article of Games Radar that list the codenames of the now famous game consoles before they were even famous.

Atlantis? Stella? Katana? Xenon? Nitro? Revolution? I bet that you couldn’t guess which console is which, if you haven’t read the article I stated above then I’m sure that you can’t even guess half of the names I mentioned.
