After Typhoon Ondoy we cleaned up and find a shiny metallic silver digital camera stored safely in our hanging cabinet. The label says Sony W80, it’s a quite outdated digicam but it’s the first cyber-shot to feature face recognition technology, bundled with optical image stabilization, movie mode, 7 megapixel sensor and ultra fast image processor , the w80 still able to give a few punch. Just don’t compare it with the top of the line WX1 and TX1 Cyber-shots.
The Sony Cyber-shot W80 was released late 2007 and features an attractive display, and new interface (at that time). It performs fast while producing great pictures. Being a W-Series Cyber-shot means its a cheaper line of snapshot camera compared to the slicker, thinner T-series.
