Today at PMA 2010 Samsung announced their first tough cameras. The Samsung AQ100 is a 12 megapixel camera that is waterproof upto 10 feet. It features 5x optical zoom and 720p HD video shooting. To make underwater shooting easier Samsung included an Aqua Mode, that fine tunes settings to enable you to shoot better underwater photos.

The next camera is the SL605 which have anti-scratch coating and a rubberized contact points preventing dust penetration. Like the AQ100 it too have a 12 megapixel sensor and 5x optical zoom, but it can’t shoot 720p HD movies.

The SL605 will cost $130 while the AQ100 is a bit expensive at $200 price tag.
