This is what I’ve been waiting for, the successor to Lumix TS1 is here and of-course it is called the TS2. You can say that it is tougher than the TS1 just by looking at it, it’s a bit more rugged but still have that distinctive toughbook look.

The Panasonic TS2 now have a 14.1 Megapixel Sensor and is now waterproof up to 33 feet, shockproof to 10 feet, dustproof and freeze proof up to -10° C.

  • Now compatible with SDXC memory cards
  • Built in Video trimming and the ability to grab still image from a movie.
  • Improved Battery Life – it can now take up to 360 images in a single charge

The DMC-TS2 is available in silver, yellow, blue and orange (no more green) and the price will be announced 30 days before shipping.

Finally the wait over and the TS2 is worth the wait, now Panasonic please make it available before the rainy season.
