It seems that Olympus is catching up (or perhaps stepping up a notch) with Nikon’s D5000 with it’s new low-end (four thirds) DSLR E-600 which targets the novice photography enthusiast.

Although the Olympus E-600 is yet to be announced several photos of it was posted by a member on DPReview forums. These Shot’s where obviously taken inside a dealers store. You’ll notice boxes, several accessories and other digital cameras on the background.

Olympus E-600 DSLR

This will surely replace the current DSLR E-520 and according to Electronista it would still inherit other features from E-520 like swivel screen, art-filters and in-body image stabilization.

If you’re eying for an Olympus SLR this is something you have to wait and think about. The release of this new DSLR by Olympus will make the previous model unwanted an makes it’s price a lot cheaper. So keep you bucks back in your wallet and wait… Patience is a virtue my friend.
