Nikon D5000 is the newest digital SLR from Nikon, it’s the first Nikon DSLR that features a tilt-swivel screen which is really effective in shooting angles which may have leave you in a muddy, stinky situation. As a new Nikon D90 owner, I fell in love with the tilt-swivel screen and 12.3mp resolution sensor. However after reading Nikon’s website I figured out that it’s not compatible with Nikon Wireless Flash System, it doesn’t have a built in wireless commander, which is very useful in Flash Photography.
Indeed the D5000 is made for consumer which may also take advantage of the 19 scene modes (modes which Pro users will barely use) like Portrait, Landscape, Child, Sports, Closeup, Night-Portrait, Night Landscape, Party/Indoor, Beach Snow, Sunset, Dusk/Dawn, Pet Portrait, Candle Light, Blossom, Autumn Colors, Food, Silhouette, High-Key and Low Key. With that amount of automatic controls consumers can create stunning images that only the Pro’s can deliver.
Here’s it’s complete specs.
