Details of Nikon’s upcoming entry-level digital SLR Nikon D3100 has been pre-maturely revealed on a Foto Digital (a German Photography Magazine). It shows that the D3100 will feature 14 MP CMOS Sensor (23.2 x 15.5 mm), 3 inch Display, Live View, manual or automatic ISO settings, 11 AF points, full 1080p HD video, better AF control, in-camera menu, customizable picture profiles and ISO ranging from 100-12800, cool eh? The ability to save picture picture profiles is awesome, imagine you just have to switch profiles instead of setting up your camera’s settings every time.

New Nikkor Lenses are also confirmed. It includes Nikkor AF-S DX 55-300/4,5-5,6 G ED VR priced at $ 535, $ 2,105 Nikkor AF-S 85/1,4 G with Nano coating 10 lens elements in 9 groups, $ 1,557 Nikkor AF-S 24-120/4 G ED VR with Nano coating and a $130 Nikkor AF-S 28-300/3,5-5,6 G ED VR with 19 lens elements in 14 groups.

Foto Digital also reveals that the Nikon D3100 is priced at € 650, that’s about $ 830 in US currency.
