Fuji Film announces their upgrade to the W1 its first 3D capable compact point and shoot. The New FinePix REAL 3D W3 which should be out by September at $500 looks exactly like its predecessor and the specs are almost the same, however the W3 have a bigger 3.5 inch 1,150,000 dot Screen while the w1 have a smaller 2.8 inch 230,000 LCD. Both generations shoots 3D videos in 640 x 480 pixels at 30 fps and 320 x 240 pixels at 30 fps, but the newer model is able to take 1280 x 720 at 24fps. It also adds an HDMI port so you can connect it directly to your HDTV.
Although the W3′s design is almost identical with the W1, the W3 is smaller at 124.0 x 65.9 x 27.8 mm and 30 grams lighter at 230g. The Fuji Film FinePix REAL 3D W3 looks good on paper and could be your ticket to buying your own 3D TV.
